In the past year 988 assets were transferred from state ownership to the private sector.
In 2018, the National Agency of State Property under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development mobilized over 115,600,000 GEL through the sale of state assets. 988 assets were transferred from state ownership to the private sector and the expected investment on the sold assets is over 68,000,000 GEL. Last year, the government sold linear construction for the highest price, the owner of which now is Socar. The company paid 21.3 million GEL in total for the 35 units of liner construction.
