სამრეწველო პროდუქციის მწარმოებელთა ფასების ინდექსი უჩვენებს, თუ რამდენად ძვირდება/იაფდება სამრეწველო პროდუქციის წარმოება საქართველოში. აღნიშნული ინდექსი მიმდინარე წლის აგვისტოში წინა თვესთან (ივლისთან) შედარებით 0.8%-ით გაიზარდა, ხოლო 2016 წლის აგვისტოსთან შედარებით 11.5%-ით არის გაზრდილი. 2010 წელთან შედარებით კი დღეს პროდუქციის წარმოება 35%-ით მეტ დანახარჯს მოითხოვს.
ბოლო ერთი წლის განმავლობაში დამამუშავებელი მრეწველობის პროდუქციის წარმოება 11.4%-ით გაძვირდა. მათ შორის, საკვები პროდუქტების (სასმელების ჩათვლით) და თამბაქოს წარმოება გაძვირდა 6.7%-ით, ლითონის მზა ნაწარმის წარმოება 45.5%-ით, რეზინისა და პლასტმასის წარმოება 4.3%-ით, ელექტროენერგიის, წყლის და აირის წარმოება და განაწილება 10.1%-ით. ტყავის და ტყავის ნაწარმის წარმოება 4.4%-ით გაიაფდა. 4.6%-ით გაიაფდა მერქნის და მერქნის ნაწარმის წარმოება.
