Former prime-minister and billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili is returning to politics. Prime-minister of Georgia Irakli Kvirikashvili proposed him the leadership of Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia Party. Ivanishvili gave his consent to the proposal.
Bidzina Ivanishvili showed up on political horizon by the end of 2011 and in 2012 he occupied the prime-minster’s position, which he held for 13 months.
On the list of the richest people of the planet Ivanishvili is ranked 456. Forbes Georgia assesses the former prime-minister’s capital as worth of 4.5 bln USD. According to Forbes Georgia, over the last year, Ivanishvili has became 100 mln USD richer.
