In august, 19,4 mln US dollars (46,5 mln GEL) were transferred to foreign countries from Georgia, which compared to similar period of the previous year is a bigger amount – in August last year, 17,3 mln USD were transferred to foreign countries from Georgia.
From the above amount the biggest part is transferred to Russia – in August, 8,5 mln USD were transferred to Russia. Besides, 40 mln USD was transferred from Russia to Georgia in the same month.
3 mln USD was transferred from Georgia to Ukraine. Within the same period, 2,1 mln USD was transferred from Ukraine to Georgia.
1,6 mln USD was transferred from Georgia to Turkey – money transfers from Turkey to Georgia made 9,7 mln USD during the month of August.
837 000 USD was transferred from Georgia to Azerbaijan and within the same period 1,3 mln USD was transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia. 623 thousand USD was transferred from Georgia to Greece and 11,4 mln USD – from Greece to Georgia.

Money Gram – $14,5 mln – 12% of total volume
RIA – $14,9 mln – 12,3% of total volume
Rico Gram – $2,6 mln – 2,1% of total volume
