Pre-COVID-19, managers were already hearing about digitization, from spreading robotics to accelerating Artificial Intelligence (AI). These digital technologies were going to transform business and government. The digital future has arrived faster than anyone expected. But forget technology for a moment and consider the human element. What are the wider implications for leadership and management of the rapid spread of digital technologies?
This session will seek to answer questions like, “What have we learned about good management in this ‘Brave New World’? How do these technologies change optimal team structure and behaviour? What are the implications for societies and nations? In other words, what do we already know about making best use of digital technologies, and about work and leadership today?
