TBC\u00a0and FMO have signed a USD 30 million Nasira portfolio guarantee. Co-funded by the European Commission, NASIRA is one of FMO\u2019s most innovative programs which aims to support access to finance for local MSMEs by sharing the credit losses of loan portfolios.<\/p>\n

The partnership through\u00a0the\u00a0portfolio guarantee reflects TBC\u2019sand FMO\u2019s shared commitment to strengthen Georgia\u2019s inclusive economic growth. TBC\u00a0as a\u00a0largest MSME lender in Georgia\u00a0has been\u00a0actively bringing new initiatives and innovative financing solutions to the market to support MSMEs;The\u00a0proposed\u00a0risk-sharing facility\u00a0will\u00a0further scale up TBC\u2019s ability to\u00a0finance\u00a0Georgian MSMEs with a focus on young entrepreneurs, start-ups, woman owned-led businesses and rural\u00a0businesses, who face the most challenges in accessing funding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are happy to continue our strategic partnership with the FMO and announce the successful completion of another important transaction – Nasira portfolio guarantee.\u00a0 The Risk sharing facility will allow TBC to accelerate financing for underserved SMEs, with special focus, on rural entities and smallholders, women entrepreneurs and start-ups, thereby strengthening their competitiveness and supporting country\u2019s sustainable economic development.\u201d said\u00a0Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, CEO of JSC TBC Bank.<\/p>\n
