Please introduce Conceptdigital’s concept and business model. What inspired you to launch this type of agency, and what value do you deliver to businesses and clients?<\/b><\/p>\n

Conceptdigital is a London-based software and consulting agency that designs and implements bespoke digital products and solutions for clients across the globe. We\u2019re not just a development shop – we\u2019re a strategic partner. Our founding idea was simple: companies were either overspending on rigid enterprise software or being underserved by one-size-fits-all solutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We believed there was space for a high-performance agency with elite talent and sharp business sense that could co-create digital strategies and products that deliver measurable business outcomes. From Fortune 500 firms to agile startups, we help clients leverage technology to leapfrog the competition – whether it’s via better customer experiences, streamlined operations, or data-driven decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n

When founding a company, selecting the right partners and forming a team with relevant experience is crucial. In your team\u2019s experience list, we see names like the University of Cambridge, McKinsey & Company, Bank of Georgia, Space International, and others. How has this influenced Conceptdigital\u2019s development and its strategic vision?<\/b><\/p>\n

The combined experience of our founders has been pivotal to shaping our identity. With backgrounds in entrepreneurship, finance, engineering, strategy, and tech leadership across institutions like McKinsey, Cambridge, Space International, Bank of Georgia, Tegeta Motors and Iberia Co-Investment Fund, we built Conceptdigital on a foundation of both analytical rigor and creative execution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That mix allows us to think beyond code and features – we focus on business impact, whether that\u2019s improving customer retention, increasing operational efficiency, or unlocking new and larger revenue streams. The pedigree of our team helps us attract top-tier clients and talent, and gives our clients confidence in our ability to deliver transformative results.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our experience in a variety of elite organizations showed us how many companies really face horror stories when it comes to finding trustworthy tech partners. Only a shocking 4% of outsourced software projects met or exceeded the expectations of the client. We\u2019ve built an agency with over 98% satisfaction across over 4 continents with 50+ projects in 15+ industries. <\/span>

\n<\/span>What is it like to found and manage a company in London, one of the world\u2019s financial and technological hubs? What challenges did you encounter, how did you overcome them, and how successfully have you established your presence?<\/b><\/p>\n

London\u2019s ecosystem is both demanding and incredibly rewarding. It\u2019s exciting to come shoulder-to-shoulder with the brightest and best companies while helping them to get to the next level. The competition is fierce, but that pushes you to be better every day. We\u2019ve had to differentiate not only through technical skill, but also by offering deeper business acumen and flexibility in how we work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One major challenge was standing out in a saturated market\u2014our answer to that was credibility through results. Collaborating with clients like Halocarbon, Atlas Metrics, and Y Combinator-backed startups helped cement our reputation early. Today, we\u2019re not only established in London but also growing rapidly across Europe, the US, and the EECCA region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If we look at the wide range of services offered by Conceptdigital\u2014development, design, research, data engineering, machine learning, and more\u2014what services are most in demand by your clients?<\/b><\/p>\n

Custom software development and staff augmentation lead the demand curve. Many of our clients come to us because they need flexible, high-quality engineering capacity\u2014fast. Others look to us for full-cycle product design and delivery, especially for data-intensive platforms, e-commerce, and AI-driven tools. Increasingly, we\u2019re seeing strong interest in AI integration, and workflow automation. Clients want results, and we bring both the creative and technical capabilities to deliver them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, globally the need for Digital Transformation is already crystal-clear with projects in legacy system modernization, smarter fintech modules such as AML checks and omni-channel CX platforms. In fact we\u2019re excited about an ongoing project we have, building an AI-based AML solution in partnership with a Cyprus-based startup. Alongside this we\u2019re starting to see a growing trend in larger organizations wanting to move over to an Agile Delivery Model and therefore an increased demand in Agile Transformations too. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Conceptdigital is now a successful technology company, but how did it all begin? What was the story behind landing your first client?<\/b>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Our journey began with a collaboration that set the tone for what Conceptdigital would become. Our first clients were a group of ambitious German entrepreneurs – alumni of Cambridge and McKinsey – who had just founded a digital veterinary clinic startup in Berlin. They entrusted us with building their MVP of a triage & booking platform alongside an ecommerce platform, which ultimately played a key role in securing \u20ac5 million in seed funding.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0That early success helped validate our capabilities and became a cornerstone case study for our agency. The momentum from that project helped build our reputation as a reliable, high-impact tech partner. Today, their company, Rex, has expanded to seven physical locations across Berlin and Hamburg in just four years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your portfolio includes several well-known Georgian brands. Are you currently working on any interesting projects?<\/b><\/p>\n

Absolutely. We\u2019ve worked with several leading Georgian companies and institutions including Schirnhofer, SEU University, GPI Holding, ProCredit Bank, The Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and\u00a0 we\u2019re continuing work with several leading Georgian companies including Foresight Investment Group and Aversi Pharmacy. One highlight is our collaboration with Tbilisi Holding Company, where we developed an inventory management system that cut operational costs by $3 million.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>After acquiring ZD Consulting, Conceptdigital added a new direction – consulting. Why has this area become relevant to you?<\/b><\/p>\n

The consulting division was a natural evolution. We realized that many of our clients needed help beyond execution – they needed guidance at the strategy level. Through ZD Consulting, we\u2019re now advising on digital transformation, IT architecture, go-to-market strategies, and operational optimization. This vertical complements our delivery arm perfectly: we can help clients frame the right questions, then deliver the right answers through technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The acquisition of the Georgian consulting firm ZD Consulting founded by Zurab Dzagania made perfect sense, adding to our already broad experience with deeper local enterprise tech expertise. As the former CIO and Supervisory Board Member of Tegeta Motors and CTO of Space International, Zura brings his intimate knowledge of the local tech market, drawing from his vast experience of leading several major IT and software projects at TBC Bank and more. Under his leadership, Space neobank modernized from their legacy system to cutting-edge tech and architecture, enabling the company to acquire 9 million users within the first year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How is the demand for consulting evolving in Georgia\u2019s tech market and across the EECCA region?<\/b><\/p>\n

Demand is surging. As the region modernizes, both legacy companies and emerging players are realizing that digital isn\u2019t optional – it\u2019s existential. But there\u2019s a gap in quality advisory services tailored to local realities with global standards. That\u2019s where we come in. We\u2019ve seen a strong uptick in consulting requests, especially in sectors like banking & fintech, insurance, logistics, and education. The appetite is there, and we\u2019re well-positioned to meet it.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the wider region, throughout East Europe and Central Asia, Georgia benefits from a strong reputation in enterprise tech, especially in banking. This is in large part thanks to the significant scale, capabilities and footprint of TBC and Bank of Georgia. Our experience in both of those organizations leads to a high level of trust when engaging in projects throughout the EECAA region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next month, in May, the Forbes Georgia Banking Conference will take place, with Conceptdigital as one of the partners. Why is it important for you to support events like this?<\/b><\/p>\n

Supporting the Forbes Banking Conference is part of our broader mission to elevate the digital maturity of the region. These events create critical dialogue between financial institutions, regulators, and innovators. For us, it’s a chance to both contribute and learn – sharing our insights on digital transformation while understanding the evolving needs of key players. It\u2019s also an opportunity to spark collaborations that move the whole ecosystem forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your action plan for the future, both in Georgia and the EECCA region? Are you planning to enter new markets? What is your next mission?<\/b><\/p>\n

We\u2019re doubling down on three key fronts: scaling our consulting practice, expanding into new markets like the Middle East and Central Asia, and accelerating our AI capabilities. In Georgia and the EECCA region, we\u2019ll continue supporting digital transformation in insurance, energy, manufacturing, retail, education, logistics, and finance. Our next mission is to build platforms – our own and with partners – that address global challenges through local innovation.
