The project was realized through French investor <a href=\"https:\/\/forbes.ge\/en\/john-dodelande-georgia-on-his-mind\/\">John Dodelande<\/a>, Fujin Silk Properties LLC, and the Bank of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>John Dodelande\u2019s team has fulfilled the key government obligation: delivering the first branded hotel at Tbilisi Airport on time and to high standards. Spanning 4,600 m\u00b2, the hotel features 72 rooms, 24\/7 operational restaurant, a wine shop, a gym, and a conference space. It marks the first phase in the development of a larger, multifunctional complex covering 39,000 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel operates under the French hotel management group ACCOR, which manages over 5,500 hospitality properties across 110 countries. With its refined design, ibis Tbilisi Airport is already being recognized as one of the most distinctive ibis hotels in the region. Operational since October 1, the hotel enhances tourism, transit, and infrastructure services in the area surrounding the airport.<\/p>\n<p>Fujin Silk Properties LLC \u2013 founded by John Dodelande \u2013 aims to develop tourism and leisure destinations along the Silk Road region. To ensure high-quality development, Fujin collaborated with world-class architects, designers, and consultants. For the ibis Tbilisi Airport project, the company partnered with French architectural firm Cl\u00e9ment Blanchet Architecture \u2013 CBA and leading Georgian architects from Art Studio Project.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, Dodelande remains committed to expanding in Georgia, leveraging a strong alliance with A\u00e9roports de Paris (ADP), which holds a 47% stake in TAV\u2014the operator of Tbilisi International Airport and joining forces with ADP in the 120 million EUR investment for Tbilisi International Airport Expansion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGeorgia represents for the Silk Road what Italy or Switzerland represents for Europe.
