On May 15, the Israeli-Georgian real estate developer <\/span>European Village<\/b> signed a Letter of Intent with <\/span>Aimbridge Hospitality<\/b>, the world\u2019s largest third-party hotel operator, to manage a new luxury hotel currently under construction in Batumi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Headquartered in the U.S., Aimbridge oversees a portfolio of more than 1,500 hotels worldwide, primarily in the upscale segment, and brings over 65 years of industry experience to the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

A few days earlier, <\/span>on April 29, 2025<\/b>, <\/span>in Dubai<\/b>, <\/span>Best Western Hotels & Resorts <\/b>inked a <\/span>deal<\/span><\/a> with the <\/span>European Village<\/b> to launch the <\/span>Grand Life WorldHotels Luxury<\/b> project <\/span>in Batumi<\/b>. One of the oldest hotel brands in operation today, <\/span>Best Western<\/b> will celebrate its 80<\/span>th<\/span> anniversary in 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new hotel will be part of the <\/span>Grand Life WorldHotels Luxury<\/b> collection, the premium segment of <\/span>Best Western’s<\/b> portfolio. As one of the brand’s most exclusive offerings, it will be one of just eight properties worldwide to have the WorldHotels Luxury designation. <\/span>Grand Life WorldHotels Luxury<\/b> will also be the first of its kind in Eastern Europe, and the ninth hotel globally to carry this label.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Grand Life WorldHotels Luxury<\/b> project will bring a five-star city hotel to Batumi\u2019s newly developing center, steps from the Black Sea. The two-block complex will feature 86 hotel rooms and 69 branded residences, with access to more than 100 infrastructure facilities, including signature restaurants and bars, a full-service spa, fitness and wellness centers, conference halls, and covered on-site parking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier<\/span>, Aimbridge Hospitality<\/b> partnered with<\/span> European Village<\/b> on a similarly high-profile venture: <\/span>Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio<\/i><\/b>\u2014Batumi\u2019s first luxury branded resort to offer an all-inclusive experience. <\/span>European Village<\/b> is the developer behind both projects and remains a prominent force in Georgia\u2019s branded hotel real estate.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe luxury segment in Batumi holds tremendous potential and is experiencing strong momentum. Today\u2019s agreement is the latest milestone in our ongoing effort to develop new tourist infrastructure in Georgia\u201d, – said <\/span>Archil Partenadze<\/b>, General Director of European Village.<\/span><\/p>\n

Archil Partenadze states that Georgia’s luxury hotel market is still in its early stages, with a limited supply of high-end branded properties, but steadily growing international demand, and while there are currently no comparable properties on Georgia\u2019s Black Sea coast, that\u2019s beginning to change, as <\/span>European Village<\/b> takes the lead in developing the first of their kind.<\/span><\/p>\n
