The countries are Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p>The IMF calculated that Georgia overtook Azerbaijan in 2020 due to the decrease in the latter\u2019s gross domestic product. Azerbaijan\u2019s GDP exceeded $75 billion in 2014 but was reduced to $41.7 billion by 2020 due to falling oil prices. Therefore, the per-capita GDP of the 10 million-strong nation is now less than Georgia\u2019s. According to the IMF, Georgia is ahead of Azerbaijan both in terms of PPP ($643 gap) and nominal GDP ($281 gap).<\/p>\n<p>Tajikistan is the poorest post-Soviet country with a GDP per capita of $3,560. The gap between Tajikistan and Lithuania, which tops the list, exceeds $35,800.
