ევროკომისია “აღმოსავლეთ პარტნიორობის” ქვეყნებს: საქართველოს, სომხეთს, აზერბაიჯანს, მოლდოვას, უკრაინასა და ბელარუსს გადაუდებელი საჭიროებებისთვის 140 მილიონ ევროს გამოუყოფს, – ამის შესახებ ნათქვამია ევროკომისიის მიერ გავრცელებულ განცხადებაში.
დამატებით, კომისია ასევე 700 მილიონი ევროს ღირებულების არსებულ ინსტრუმენტებს მიმართავს კორონავირუსის შედეგად გამოწვეული კრიზისის სოციალურ-ეკონომიკური შედეგების შესამსუბუქებლად.

როგორც ევროკომისია აღნიშნავს, პარტნიორი ქვეყნების თხოვნის საფუძველზე, ევროკომისია უპასუხებს ქვეყნების სასწრაფო საჭიროებებს და მხარს დაუჭერს სამედიცინო მოწყობლობებით და პერსონალური აღჭურვილობით მომარაგებას. კერძოდ, საუბარია სასუნთქ აპარატებზე, ლაბორატორიულ კომპლექტებზე, ნიღბებზე, სათვალეებზე, ხალათებსა და დამცავ კოსტუმებზე.
“ევროკომისია მუშაობს ჯანდაცვის მსოფლიო ორგანიზაციასთან და გამოყოფს 30 მილიონს იმის უზრუნველსაყოფად, რომ უახლოეს კვირებში მოხდეს ამ აუცილებელი მასალების ერთობლივი შესყიდვა და ეფექტიანად დარიგება ექვსი ქვეყნის ჯანდაცვის სისტემებისთვის. ამას გარდა, სახსრები მხარს დაუჭერს ჯანდაცვის ეროვნულ ადმინისტრაციებს სამედიცინო და ლაბორატორიების პერსონალის ტრენინგში და მოსახლეობის ფართო ფენებში ცნობადობის ამაღლების ზომების განხორციელებაში“, – ნათქვამია ევროკომისიის განცხადებაში.
