ეროვნული ბანკის ინფორმაციით, მიმდინარე წლის მაისში საქართველოში მოქმედი კომერციული ბანკების წმინდა მოგებამ 68 მლნ ლარი შეადგინა, რაც 11.6 მლნ ლარით მეტია 2017 წლის მაისის მაჩვენებელზე. მაისში ბანკებმა მოგების გადასახადის სახით სახელმწიფო ბიუჯეტში 12.2 მლნ ლარი გადაიხადეს.
მაისში ბანკების შემოსავლებმა 349 მლნ ლარი შეადგინა, საიდანაც 275 მლნ ლარი საპროცენტო შემოსავლები, ხოლო 74 მლნ ლარი არასაპროცენტო შემოსავლები იყო.
ხუთი თვის ჯამში, იანვარ-მაისში ბანკების მოგება 362 მლნ ლარია, რაც 2017 წლის იანვარ-მაისის მოგებაზე 10.4 მლნ ლარით (3%-ით) ნაკლებია.
