Mamuka Bakhtadze was named as the Prime Minister candidate. Bakhtadze has served as the Minister of Finance and before that he was the Head of the Georgian Railway. He graduated from the Tbilisi Javakhishvili State university and Georgian Technical University. He obtained Master degree at Moscow Lomonosov State University and in 2010, was granted MBA qualification by INSED Business School.
As to his professional experience, he took over the minister portfolio on 13th November 2017. Before that, since April 2013, he had been the Director of the JSC Georgian Railway.
In 2010-2012, Mamuka Bakhtadze was the Director General of the Georgian International Energy Corporation. In 2007-2008 – member of the Supervisory Board of Rcheuli hotel chain and in 2005-2006 – JSC Georgian Railway project manager.
