In 2016, in Georgia, the amount of pension contributions made 4 064 667 GEL, which is 664 932 GEL less than in previous year. According to data provided by the insurance authority, there are two companies in Georgia, dealing with pension contributions – Aldagi and GPI. The share of Aldagi is much bigger – 3 084 774 GEL, GPI – 980 893 GEL.
In total, last year, 12 550 effective pension agreements were registered (141 less than in previous year). Total amount, transferred from the pension scheme made 1 936 559 GEL.
