In Q1 2018, net revenue of insurance companies made 7,57 mln GEL, which, according to the State Insurance Supervision Service, is 1,9 mln USD more than in the same period last year.
The assets of insurance companies have also increased and reached 650,74 mln GEL, instead of the last year’s 586,03 mln GEL. The insurance premium collected in Q1 from direct insurance activities made 164,39 mln GEL, while last year this rate was 143,80 mln GEL. As to the capital of the companies, it is 178,79 mln GEL, while in the same period last year it was 145,03 mln GEL.
GPI is the leader of attracted insurance premium, flowed by Imedi L and Aldagi.
