2,988,478 international travelers visited Georgia in the first 5 months of 2019. This is 5.4% increase compared to the same period of 2018.
The number of tourist visits reached 1,655,163, which is 121,378 more than the January-May indicator (growth + 7.9%).
According to the Georgian Tourism National Administration, Tbilisi is leading with 52% (670 000 tourists) among the places visited by travelers during Q1, 2019. Batumi comes next with 19% (249 288 tourists) in the same period.
