The United Kingdom is planning to use blockchain technology for land registration. For this purpose, the country will submit a so-called “digital street” project, for which blockchain technology will serve as a basis.
Once the “digital street” project is test-launched, the registrar will be able to register more data than it is registering now.
Georgia is one of the first countries in the world to start using blockchain innovation for registration of immovable property. Blockchain technology makes registration transactions internationally more accessible, transparent and protected. In Georgia, since 20th of February, information about records on immovable property automatically gets to blockchain system. It is impossible to delete, change, copy or illegally manipulate any information stored in blockchain.
